Karel IV. Gold Coins
The Czech National Bank decided in 1994 to continue the historical tradition of minting Czech gold and silver coins, the first silver commemorative coins were minted in the denomination of CZK 200, a year later the first gold commemorative coins were minted in the denominations of CZK 1,000, CZK 2,500, CZK 5,000 and CZK 10,000.
