Refinery
Refineries are where raw silver is converted into silver with the highest purity (99.9% and higher). The pure silver is then made into silver bullion, investment coins and other products. Silver bullion from reputable refineries is typically accepted on all major global precious metals exchanges and represents a reliable and liquid investment commodity.

Silver refining process
- Melting: Raw silver is first melted in a furnace at high temperature.
- Purification: The molten silver is then purified by chemical processes to remove impurities and unwanted metals.
- Electrolytic refining: This method uses an electric current to separate the silver from the remaining impurities.
- Casting: The purified silver is cast into moulds to produce ingots of the desired shape and weight.
- Manufacturing: For some ingots, such as coins, this is followed by embossing with a design and denomination.
